This is a lower fat, lower sugar brownie recipe. I used cocoa powder instead of chocolate, but you can add a bit of chocolate chips without jeopardizing the calories count!

- 100g butter
- ¾ cup sugar or ½ cup if using chocolate
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 eggs + 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour with ¼ teaspoon salt
Optional:

- ½ cup walnuts toasted with one tablespoon of flour.
Directions
- Melt the butter and mix with sugar, eggs and vanilla.
- Add in the chocolate if using.
- Mix the cocoa powder
with the flour and add to the egg mixture. - Add in the walnuts.
- Pour in a greased pan and bake for 30 minutes (or less if you like it chewy) at 180 degrees Celsius.
